Yep, you heard that right, don’t overestimate food and exercise. Of course, don’t underestimate it either. Just be free from all the mind chatter, calorie counts, and scale weigh ins. Instead, take care of yourself as a wholesome human being, which includes mind, body, and soul.

Health care is the ability to take care of ourselves. And in this world where we are constantly overworked and over frantic, we lose our ability to care for our health. Then we start outsourcing to doctors when we could avoid it all, if we knew what the true meaning of health care was in the beginning. Health care is the ability to take care of ourselves.

Don't overestimate food and exercise, although they are a part of the wheel of health, remember meditation, sleep, skin care, spiritual connection, and living your life purpose are all just as important aspects of taking care of yourself. Food and exercise is one out of thousands of ways we can care for our miracles we call bodies.

Digestion is a huge part of self care, if you're not digesting right, it does not matter the kind of food you eat. I heard this quote one time and it clicked “To Eat is human, to digest is divine.” Not only do we need to digest our food, we need to digest our experiences as well which we cannot do in a crazy state or running around all the time. Then we wonder why so many come to the doctors chronically tired and anxious and depressed and not living their optimal lives.

So just find foods that fit for YOUR digestion system and find those types of experiences too.

Please take care of yourselves my loves!
